ubuntu-ca Digest, Vol 39, Issue 21

One suggestion you may have already followed: apt-get update before all
those apt-get installs. Make sure you're working with the most recent
package listing. Recently I saw an xorg update that could only be done
in a partial install so there were unmet dependencies). A fresh package
listing a few hours later and things were done fine.

Hope this helps.
