Next Fredericton Meeting

Hi:

Trying to fight back, just makes for more stress. It's not stress it
self that causes you problems, it how you react to it, the strain that
causes problems. Many people are Angry when they call the Help Desk,
angry they can't get through, Angry they were left on Hold for 2 years.
Angry that they now know the Tune that's being played from Music on
Hold, that plays so much that they can't stop it any time of the day.
They are not Thankful, when you figure out their problem, their
attitude, is like they paid all this money, and this is the least you
can do, to help them. Handling this all requires kind of a Paradigm
shift. Kind of a Quality time, that balances the times when the stress
starts getting you down.

Expressive Music, perhaps, that has the Quality to Relax you. Making an
effort to do Good Things, without much thought given for recompense.
This Counters very well the Urge to get that AK47, and Go Postal! Allow
something of yourself to react to the feeling of having done something
GOOD! Now and then to Recharge, think about the Good things that you
have been doing, and allow a tear of Goodness to Flow. When you see
others doing something of Goodness, interact with it. It neutralizes the
obsession to do something BAD! Time yourself in your responses, to talk
slowly, so as to keep yourself Cool, no matter what is going on. There
are Emotions, which Motion out Motions, but there are In-motions, which
Motion things in. Be careful of what you let in. Medications can do
this, but you will not need them, when this becomes the new you. The
doing things of GOODNESS, will make you feel, Wonderful! After a time It
makes for a sort of Shield, a Suit of Amour, that allows things to
bounce off, that disturb your Calm. You know right away when you are
headed into some situation of no Calm. Realize that there are MUD
Puddles, and don't go there. What is most important everyday is your
sense of Balance, the other things or how other people are feeling are
secondary to your Happiness. If you Feel for them, then you take on
their Emotional Load, and in no time you are just as Angry as they are.
So this is not what you do! The Atmosphere, and the Attitude that you
have, needs to be focused on Relaxed, Calmness. At first it will seem
somewhat Alien, but after a time, you May get used to it, and used to
maintaining it, because it needs to be maintained. It does not happen
all on it's own, it requires a little bit of your Effort to make it
happen. Stress can just Bounce Off you! Hey Here I'm sort of the Help
Desk of preventing another Postal Episode! I'm having some Fun, sending
you this. Money is a somewhat poor Recompense, you need to have Fun too,
and some other Perks that Keep you Well. I didn't even need a Flow Chart
Book to tell you about this! It works well, and it Worked
For ....Me .....Me.... Me :)!

Alfred!

The goal of Computer Science is to build something that will last at least
until we've
finished building it.
