This is great news! Ubuntu's Dell page gives some additional details
(http://www.ubuntu.com/dell#canada).
It has been a constant problem for me when explaining GNU/Linux to
people that I can't recommend a mainstream manufacturer that ships
pre-installed GNU/Linux in Canada. Now that this has changed, it
should be much easier to demonstrate to people that GNU/Linux (in the
form of Ubuntu, at least) is ready for the mainstream because it's
backed by a major manufacturer.
