Well then, is it possible just to paste the information to the body of the
message.

Only the lines that have NVIDIA in them. Especially the lines that give
information about what "modules" were found/loaded. And also lines that give
you information as to the Display Depth.

I've pasted a sample of what's on mine. You'll see that the module NVIDIA
is detected:
NVIDIA GPU Quadro NVS 110M (G72) at PCI:1:0:0 (GPU-0)

and that the screen size is set:
Virtual screen size determined to be 1440 x 900

If you can't paste a few lines, perhaps you can check this yourself and see
what the X server is doing.

It might be that the detection of the video card is wrong and that the wrong
module has been loaded.
