Help with Ubuntu and Dell PowerEdge 2900

Just wanted to add one comment regarding the missing 500 GB. I've noticed on
IBM systems, when setting up ServerRAID, sometimes the default installation
will take one drive and leave it as a Hot Spare. It will use the remaining
drives for the RAID configuration.
