Camera/Picture sorting Software

hello again... if you don't have any success finding satisfactory
software in Ubuntu or Linux databases, you could experiment with an
emulator like WINE -- it may give you access to the Windows software
that came with your camera. As per another response to your query, you
can view the exif data through view>meta browser on the F-spot
software. .. regards ...wen
