upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy

About performance, that would depend on the applications you're using
and the data they're handling. I have an Acer AMD64 but I'm running
the 32-bit Gutsy and find that it's faster than the 64-bit version
that I had installed previously. Nearly all the applications that I
use only exist in the 32-bit version in any case.
I was running the 32-bit Feisty and I upgraded using synaptic. I had
no problems and nothing (other than VMware) broke and fixing it
required a simple recompile.
Andrew.
