  "SIP" is a standard.
  It's not a service.
 
  There are dozens of telephone systems that offer telephone service
using SIP.  Some of them cost more and some cost less, and some are
free.  It's an open market, and you get to pick your telephone
seperately from your service.
  It's rather like automobiles: you don't have to buy gas from "Ford"
just because you bought a car from "Ford".

  I use unlimitel.ca with Cisco, Linksys (Sipura), Polycom and
