I made the attempt it installed what appears to be perfectly, then it adds
its own custom xserv.conf file that prevents it from using anything less
than 50 Hz for the monitor which for me is a 6 year old Durabrand TV.  We
had planed on making the purchase of a new TV, and even my wife the keeper
of the pocket book says go for it so we can be rid of Microsoft for ever.
