Will 6.10 upgrade to 7.04?

Hi,

I am interested in installing 7.04 (when it is officially released as a
stable build). My question is will 6.10 be able to upgrade
completely/seamlessly to 7.04? I've heard of issues with upgrading
previously, so I wondering if this is a good reason to just wait a while
longer.

Also, does anyone know if 7.04 is actually on schedule to be released in
"04" (April)? If it's behind, maybe I'll just install 6.10 in the
meantime...
