Hi Jeff,

Based on very positive reviews, I just purchased Beginning Ubuntu Linux 
from Novice to Professional by Keir Thomas.  It came today and looks to 
be a worthwhile reference.  Cost was $29 all up according to the invoice 
that came with the book.  I brought it through Amazon.ca
