Nvu...now "KompoZer"

Hi,

Not sure about this particular problem with Nvu but I have found it a
little on the "buggy" side at times.  There's a sort of "fork" of Nvu
called "KompoZer" that was created by one of the developers as what he
calls a "temporary bug fix release" of Nvu.

You can get the source tarball for Linux from here:

I'm not sure if it's made its way into any of the Ubuntu or Debian
repositories yet.

I ran a weekend seminar for website "newbies" (folks who don't know any
html at all) this past weekend and made use of the Windows version of
KompoZer and it generally worked okay.

I think there's room for a free and open source "WYSIWYG" website
creation tool...it allows newbies to get a website up with relatively
little skill.

The other thing that's worth taking a look at is the "Composer" feature
built into the Sea Monkey web suite (what used to be the Mozilla web
suite).
