A couple of small problems

Try opening the address bar in Nautilus - ctrl-L, I think. Then type in ~/
.mozilla-thunderbird/pamywnwm.default

That will get you straight into that directory.

p.s. - Did you know that pressing Ctrl + will enlarge the font in Firefox?
Useful for our old eyes.
