ATI Radeon working with Ubuntu

Well it seems that the only problem with the radeon driver is that you must 
specify the chipID.  Leaving this off returns the error I had but adding in 
the actual ChipID of my Radeon 9000 card for my Acer Travelmate 800 notebook 
does the trick.

I have modified my default install to use the radeon configuration and all 
is well.
