Snowflake Logo

I hope this hasn't already been resolve; I'm on this list in
daily-digest mode. I'm not sure how different a logo needs to be seen
as an 'original' work rather than a modification. My (new) proposed
design loses the curved lines forming a circle, so maybe (knock wood),
it's OK?

A little story here. Having run out of ideas involving maple leaves, I
sought other symbols of Canada. The beaver seemed like a natural
choice, especially with the elegance of both the Parks Canada and Roots
logos. Unfortunately, the only ubuntu-esque arrangement of three
beavers I could think of was to have them meet at the centre, or to have
them meet nose to, er, rear-end. Wanting to avoid a new "porn-distro"
kerfuffle, I tried again and arrived at the snowflake. So what do you
think?
