Spreading the Word During the Holiday Season

I hope everyone here on Ubuntu Canada has enjoyed the Holiday Season. Such a
season is a great opportunity to spread the word about Ubuntu amongst family
and friends, and I was just wondering if anyone has done any of this over
the holiday season, and how successful this has been?
