Resolution issues

Hello,
  Perhaps you recall that I once asked about why when I reinstalled Ubuntu
that the resolution of the screen had changed dramatically and I could not
figure it out. Well, I finally figured out what the difference is. When I
reinsalled Ubuntu I had not loaded, in Windows, the ATI drivers before I
installed Ubuntu. Well, today I reformatted the hard drive, installed
Windows XP, installed the drivers for sound, network and video. Then I
installed Ubuntu... I got back the proper resolution.

  Lesson learned, always load up the proper drivers...duh.
