Hello everybody, I have a question that nobody can explain to me why it's
like this :
So, there you go :
I want to know why Azureus,Amule and Java are not present in the official
backports deposit.
In fact, I have actived the mirrormax line to be able to use this
documentation installation guide :http://ubuntuguide.org/
In fact, there my 2 sources.list.
The first one is when I'm not in Québec, and the other is when i'm home.
fd at duff:~ $ cat /etc/apt/sources.list

Also, I want to know why the hoary-backports are official, and why the
hoary-extras are not.
Also, is there any source file(not binary) that I can use for the
backports...in fact can I use this line
deb-src http://gulus.usherbrooke.ca/pub/distro/ubuntu/ hoary-backports main
restricted universe
multiverse
And is there any advantage to use the source or binary will do the job ?
Finally, what is the difference between the hoary-extras and hoary-backports
?
Thanks you in advance.
P.S I wrote in English to make sure that everybody will understand :)
J'ai écris en Anglais, car je voulais être sûr que le plus de monde possible
puisse me répondre :)
Salut
alp
