I have dual boot set up on my computer for Ubuntu 10.04 and WinXP. Using
the GPLv3 Windows program "InfraRecorder" I am able to burn a CD at the
following speeds: 16x, 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x.

Using the same CD tray when booted into Ubuntu, Brasero only offers 16x
burning speed.
