You want me to try to reproduce the problem using Oneiric Ocelot Alpha
2? And then report back the result here?

Were you able to reproduce the problem on your computer? Is it specific
to my computer?

The computer I'm using cannot read DVD-R. And I have not been able to
get it to successfully boot from USB. Alpha 2 warns the image is more
than CD size. So I have a problem fulfilling this test on my computer. I
can test it on another computer at my work though. Should I do that?
