I ran the debug as well and get:

BraseroMedia: (at brasero-drive.c:280) Trying to eject drive
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-gio-operation.c:111) Waiting for end of async operation
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-gio-operation.c:141) Medium operation finished with an error DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given drive was not found
BraseroBurn: (at brasero-burn.c:445) Ejection error: DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given drive was not

when the error pops up. Then, after putting in another disc, and
nothing happened - I clicked Cancel, and got this:

BraseroBurn: (at brasero-burn.c:445) Ejection error: DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given drive was not found
BraseroBurn: (at brasero-burn.c:431) Max attempts reached at ejecting
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-medium-monitor.c:477) GDrive addition signal
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-medium-monitor.c:378) Testing drive /dev/sr0
BraseroMedia: (at scsi-sg.c:181) Getting handle
BraseroMedia: (at scsi-sg.c:200) Handle ready
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-medium-monitor.c:387) Drive is optical
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-drive.c:1456) Initializing drive /dev/sr0 from device
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-drive.c:1111) Setting GDrive 0x8e48768
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-drive.c:1042) Still initializing the drive properties
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-medium-monitor.c:456) New drive added
BraseroMedia: (at brasero-drive.c:1327) Trying to open device /dev/sr0
BraseroMedia: (at scsi-sg.c:181) Getting handle
BraseroMedia: (at scsi-sg.c:200) Handle ready

the window telling me I have successfully created a new CD pops up and
offers that if I put in another CD things will proceed (a lie ;) and
allows me to hit cancel. Doing so drops me back at the project window.
