I hate to say this but I really hope Ubuntu remove Brasero and choose another tool as default for this task.
Is unbelievable that this bug is still in 10.04.01.
Is hard to say this but:

PLEASE GUYS REMOVE BRASERO FROM DEFAULT UBUNTU DISTRO.
