[Bug 307477] Re: DVDRAM GSA-T50L will not write DVD's or CD's

I am having the same issue in Jaunty (2.6.28-11 & 2.6.28-13).

Put a blank CD/DVD into the drive, it automatically gets mounted.
Try to burn an image with any program (Brasero, growisofs, k3b, etc)
Fails to burn the image, drive locks and can NOT be eject with any software/hardware methods.
After emergency ejection with paper clip, CD/DVD's will no longer automatically mount.
The CD/DVD drive is no longer accessible to the system.
