[Bug 329096] [NEW] Can't write or format DVD-RW in Ubuntu Hardy

Public bug reported:

I have bought two Imation DVD-RW discs! I can't write any data or even
format it with k3b and other burning applications in ubuntu. Finally
I've tried nero3 for linux, but same thing happened again! I am a basic
computer user, I did search about this problem in google. But I am not
lucky. please give a solution.
