readcd by default reads data sectors and telling it to read
any sector type would make it behave suboptimal for audio CDs.

The best way to extract audio CDs is to call cdda2wav.
Cdda2wav is frequently enhanced and has a lot of internal knowledge
to read audio in a reliable way even if the media is of lower quality.

Call:

cdda2wav -vall -B -paranoia -cddb=1
cdrecord -v -useinfo -text *.wav

to copy an audio CD.

Use the original software for best results!
Make sure cdrecord/readcd/cdda2wav are installed suid root
This happens automatically if you call make install as root.
