[Bug 289629] [NEW] brasero cannot write disks with the standard driver

Public bug reported:

I tried the "copy CD/DVD" option in brasero on my new intrepid ibex installation.
The reading went fine, but the writing fails immediately with an error.

I tried the same command as brasero reports in the log view and that doesn't work.
I have to add "--driver=generic-mmc-raw" to the cdrdao arguments to write CDs, apparently.
I looked through the brasero source code and couldn't find a way to add this option to the commandline.

Is it possible to override the standard driver from within brasero
somehow?

The cdrdao man page suggests it's possible to set this in ~/.cdrdao or /etc/cdrdao.conf.
Putting
 write_driver: "generic-mmc-raw"
in ~/.cdrdao made brasero behave as expected.

It would be nice (but probably not achievable) to auto-detect this.
Perhaps a "try another driver?" dialog?
