I've tried another disk. It's happened again. "Verifying track 0".
Not sure what track zero is - I'm writing files, not audio. In the list
of messages about the last few lines are:
Flushing the cache may take some time
Updating RMA
Writing successfully completed.
I'd set the write speed at x6 - well below the supported max for this
disk. I'm writing to `iso9660 filesystem` - it's an internal ide drive
which worked perfectly on the same hardware with Ubuntu 8.4.1 (using
Brasero).
I do have a problem with verify in Brasero (I've reported this). Using
both apps there appears to be data on the disk - I can find no errors
there. Perhaps there's a way of comparing files using the command line
I can use in the mean time? Is there some way of checking whatever
part of Ubuntu/drivers are required to do whatever is happening after
the write and before/as the verify starts?
