[Bug 200337] Re: CD/DVD burning broken in hardy

I have been experiencing same or similar problems since the last patch
to growisofs was released (both Hardy and Gutsy):

Prior the last set of patches I installed on May 1 using growsifs via
k3b would still burn a iso but the resulting DVD was not consistently
recognized by all applications (handbrake avidemux).  Disks burned
previous to the date of the growisofs patch are fully compliant.

Post the May 1st Patch installation DVDs burned from growisfs (via k3b)
fail during burning, or are destroyed without reporting an error.
