[Bug 71060] Re: DVD-RAM mounting and writing issue

I am having similar issues on HARD HERON 8.04 BETA.

OS is on AMD64, installed via alternate install.

LSSCSI shows: 
[3:0:0:0]    cd/dvd  Optiarc  DVD RW AD-7190A  1.72  /dev/scd0


DVDRAM is brand new.

Inserted existing DVDRAM. Disk mounted automatically, but I have made
some changed to udev 40-permissions. Tried to delete some stuff off the
disk via Nautilus and have a message showing "File Operations: Moving
Files to the Wastebasket". This has been showing now for 5 minutes.
There is some activity on the disk. The progress bar is not moving.

Disk is locked - a second terminal screen and "ls /media/cdrom0" has
locked the screen.
