Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: udftools

UDF formatted CDRW and DVD+-RW drives are NOT writable!.

System acts (after putting
/dev/hda /media/cdrom1 auto rw,user,noauto,exec 0 0
in /etc/fstab
like it actually Writes data on UDF drive and it displays it.
But after unmount, ejecting and inserting disc, data is GONE!
With default
/dev/hda /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660,user,noauto,exec 0 0
UDF disk (1.5 UDF) inserted, is even not recognised as UDF, therefore, not even readable by default (!)

So, therefore, fhatever I put in /etc/fstab, UDF does not work for
writing on Xubuntu 7.10 64-bit.

Desired behavior: UDF formatted disks should mount, abd be accessible by default
and if disk is read-write capable, UDF disks should REMEMBER what is written on them (!)

** Affects: udftools (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
