[Bug 118770] Cannot burn CD, File > 700mb

I download ubuntu desktop cd so that I can burn a CD and start it up.
When I try to burn the ISO image , the infrarecordert tells me my blank
700mb disk is not large enough. I am a linux newbie. thanks
