Description: When text include east Asian characters, but the font do not include glyph of those characters, text were cropped so part of a character were gone. This issue exist in konsole, kate/kwrite, konquerer (when opening a text file), but not in kmail. Chinese, Japanese and Korean locale were tested. During all test, kate using default font (Oxygen Mono) are very worse (But only in kate, not the font setting dialog). See attached screenshot for details. Reproduction: Using the live CD, select the corresponding language (Chinese, Japanese or Korean), boot in to desktop, open konsole, run `ls -l`, see the output; cope the output into kate and kmail, you’ll notice the differences. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
