There is a bug in the new stable release of ubuntu 13.10. For some reason,
the first time that newusers is used you can only add one user after that
you can add as many as you would like.

Here are the steps:
  1. Do a clean install of Ubuntu 13.10
  2. Open terminal and run
      A. sudo apt-get update
      B. sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
  3. Create a text file with two or more users to be added
  4. Run command: sudo newusers textfile
  5. Ubuntu errors out with:
*** Error in `newusers': double free or corruption (!prev):
0x0000000001bd3790 ***
*** Error in `newusers': malloc(): memory corruption:
0x0000000001bd3830 ***
  6. Create another text file with a single user to be added
  7. run command: sudo newusers newtextfile
  8. Everything works great
  9. Now run the previous command: sudo newusers textfile
  10. Everything works great
  11. Seems like a bug to me ....
