Slow Ubuntu on Virtualbox

Hi!

I've been noticing that Quantal releases have been too slow on virtualbox. Is this due to the new LLVM implementation?

Also, there was a complaint (question) (http://askubuntu.com/questions/190330/slow-virtualbox-guest) concerning slow speed of Precise on virtualbox, however for me Precise works fine.
