Upgrade to Maverick not working

Hi all,
I tried filing a bug (#593321) for this, but I got no answers, and this lead
me to think that I'm missing a step in the upgrade process.
The factis, "do-release-upgrade -d" is not working.
I tried tcpdump-ing my own traffic and found out that release announcements
are pulled from http://rookery.canonical.com/
There, I saw entries about Maverick (
http://rookery.canonical.com/meta-release-development), so I think that the
do-release-upgrade tool should correctly notice there is a new development
release, and ask me to confim the upgrade.
Instead, I keep getting this annoying
> claudio at Jarvis:~$ sudo do-release-upgrade -d
> [sudo] password for claudio:
> Checking for a new ubuntu release
> No new release found
>
Am I the only one? Is there something I forgot? Because
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/maverick/alpha1 points out that this will do
(and yes, I've also tried "do-release-upgrade --devel-release" and
"update-manager -d" with no success)
Thanks,
Claudio
