Policy for translation bugs determined

Hello,

Earlier today we had the monthly Bug Squad meeting[1] that was
postponed to this date last week. We discussed the interaction between
the Ubuntu Bug Squad[2] and the Ubuntu Translations[3] teams. The
reasons for a separate Launchpad project for translations bug are on
the wiki pages of the Translations team[4], as well as a summary of
the discussion held previously on these maillists[5].

During this meeting the following policy was determined: all bugs in
Ubuntu related to translation should get a separate task for the
'ubuntu-translations' project. This task can be added immediately when
the bug has been identified as a translations bug. Next to the usual
reports about string fixes, typos and others this also includes bugs
regarding the Launchpad integration.
When a bug's task for the 'ubuntu' project is marked as 'Triaged' the
people working on the bugs in 'ubuntu-translations' know that they can
start working on it. When they've fixed the issue in the translations
the 'ubuntu' task can be used like any other bug report that is linked
to an issue upstream.

Members of Ubuntu Bug Control[6] and the Ubuntu Translations
Coordinators[7], a member of the 'ubuntu-translations-bugsupervisors'
team[8], which is the Bug Supervisor for the 'ubuntu-translations'
project. They have the permission to set 'ubuntu-translation' tasks to
Triaged as well.

A new section has been added to Bugs/HowToTriage[9] explaining how
translation bugs should be treated. David Planella suggested to remove
the reference to Launchpad integration in the documentation in order
to make the text less confusing for new triagers. Do you agree? Any
feedback on the description would be appreciated.
