No sound in Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit

As Mackenzie mentioned submitting a bug report in Launchpad is the
correct way to ensure that your issue gets attention.  If you haven't
already done so please include the information from your original e-mail
in the bug report!  As you noticed you can find out more information
