Help with a bug report

Hi all,

There has been a bug reported against wireshark since sometime
in the hardy cycle that has quite a severe impact for some
wireshark users.

Basically wireshark hangs when run under gksudo, but not any
other sudo tool. There is some code for handling uid != euid, but
I can't work out why that would behave differently for gksudo.

I'm not comfortable forwarding it ustream at this point, as I
don't feel I understand the bug well enough to know that it
is an upstream problem.

Any inisights would be appreciated.
