Hardy upgrade from gutsy failed

Hi,

            I went to launch pad to check out this problem and could not
find a report a bug to click.

 

            So here is what happened.  I updated gutsy then upgraded to
Hardy.  It failed and every time I reboot I get into the initramfs, best I
can tell this is a simplified file utilities for startup and boot stuff.

 

            My fix, hit esc in grub and select the previous kernel.  Hardy
was up after that but I may run into driver problems.
