Seems OK to me, but have a question:

Should that directory be traversed recursively or doesn't make sense to
have a package tree of clue files?  A quick find for any *.info files
there would be easy to get if there's some "find" module for Python.

(I'm a Perl programmer, so don't tell anybody that I'm doing some Python
here ;)
