Thanks for the suggestions - a good idea.

Maybe  -r  and  -R  could also take a directory as argument.

Instead of 
    bughelper -r mycluefile.info packagename
maybe
   bughelper -r <package>.info
or
  bughelper -r <dir>
would suffice too?
