Yes, that's part of the triage process, if after looked at the bug you
didn't find the version of Ubuntu the reporter is using please ask
him/her which version is running. When a bug is reported by apport it
contain this info on the "DistroRelease" field and also you have the
package version on the "Package" field (ie:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92127). Thanks!.
