Hi,
I recently had a conversation (not really a conversation, but anyway)
about Rosetta and translation bugs. Please see
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gfxboot-theme-ubuntu/+bug/62183
In light of that, can we fix our documentation at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Responses#head-53c5e38ca8cbd629b8b85523f20db395945bfb39
(delete it) and add a section somewhere on handling translation bugs
correctly?
It seems that the new way of handling them is:
------quote------
Rosetta is not capable of handling suggestions in a right way. They just
get lost there. So I would encourage to use the bug tracker. Assign the
bug to the correct language-pack please.
----end quote----
Can we add this to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures (as
"DebuggingTranslations" perhaps? or maybe somewhere else?) I just like
to have the most up-to-date information documented, because I forget
everything very quickly :)
thanks.
PS. the reason I'm not doing the changes myself is bc I'm not sure if
everyone agrees that translation bugs should be handled via launchpad.

Please scan all attachments for viruses.
Or (though you might like Rodin) you might as well avoid "The Gates of
Hell" and use Linux.
