Sim, a opção para rede sem fio só passará a aparecer se você carregar o
módulo do ndiswrapper com o driver certo do Windows.
Instale o pacote *ndisgtk* se você não gostar de lidar com linha de comando,
eu usei ele aqui no meu notebook por pura comodidade e funcionou muito bem,
a única coisa que eu precisei fazer manualmente foi editar o
*/etc/modules*para carregar o módulo do ndiswrapper durante o Boot.
Vale a pena frisar que o ndiswrapper não suporta drivers do Windows Vista
(pelo menos foi o que aconteceu comigo aqui), então antes de dizer que não
funciona certifique-se que estã usando um .INF de um driver do Windows XP.
