Ola a todos.
Instalei o Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 e não estou conseguindo fazer a minha placa
pixel View funcionar.
Eu utilizava ela no Fedora com o comando modprobe bttv card=37 tuner=2
radio=1 e funcionava de primeira.
No ubuntu, configurando o arquivo /etc/modprobe/bttv, o sistema
reconhece a placa:
lspci:
05:02.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video
Capture (rev 11)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 18
Memory at f8ffe000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: bttv
Kernel modules: bttv
05:02.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture
(rev 11)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 5
Memory at f8fff000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
/etc/modprobe.d$ dmesg | grep bttv
[ 12.264687] bttv: driver version 0.9.17 loaded
[ 12.264690] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture

[ 12.283494] bttv 0000:05:02.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18

[ 12.283536] bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=00ffc0ff [init]
[ 12.283586] bttv0: tuner type=2

[ 12.284198] bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA7432 @ 0x8a... not found
[ 12.530063] bttv0: registered device video0

[ 12.530104] bttv0: registered device radio0
[ 12.530123] bttv0: PLL: 28636363 => 35468950 .. ok
[ 259.263365] bttv0: PLL can sleep, using XTAL (28636363).
Mas o sistema não cria o /dev/radio0 e o /dev/video0
O comando ./MAKEDEV
root em Cerberus:/dev# ./MAKEDEV /dev/radio radio
udev active, devices will be created in /dev/.static/dev/
./MAKEDEV: don't know how to make device "/dev/radio"
Como devo proceder?
Grato Afonso.
