[Ubuntu-BR] Placa wireless rt2500

Oi Roberto,

Desculpe pela demora na resposta, mas estou com muito trabalho e com filho
recém nascido em casa. Dá pra imaginar, né?? :)

Eu tenho sim uma placa de rede wireless pcmcia RT2500.

tenho o Xubuntu rodando no meu notebook toshiba e demorei algum tempo até
conseguir colocar a plaquinha pra rodar..

Infelizmente meu note não está aqui comigo agora, mas vou tentar adiantar
algumas informações.

rode o lsmod e veja qual o módulo está subindo para a placa de rede.. não me
lembro com certeza quais eu tentei, mas sei que foram 2 até conseguir fazer
funcionar.

Instale o pacote rt2500 pelo apt-get

# apt-get install rt2500

rode o lsmod pra ver se ele foi carregado. Depois disso, instale um
programinha chamado wifi-radar.

# apt-get install wifi-radar

Wifi-radar é uma GUI que lista as redes disponíveis e conecta depois de
configuradas.

Para o wifi-radar funcionar com a placa rt2500, vc tem que editar o arquivo
/etc/wifi-radar e configurar pra funcionar com a interface de rede ra0.

Espero que dê pra adiantar alguma coisa. responda aqui o resultado.
