[Ubuntu-BR] setando a variavel LC_ALL = (unset)

Boa tarde pessoal,

Estava atualizando o kubuntu 6.06 para o edgy e me deparei com o seguinte 
erro:

alguem pode me ajudar ?

Não sei se tenho que editar o arquivo environment ou qualquer outro, eu tento 
colocar a linguagem no campo apropriado e nada acontece, fica dizendo que o 
diretório não existe, alguém pode dar um help ?
