[Ubuntu-BR] Octaviz e Octplot no Edgy

Prezados amigos,

não estou conseguindo instalar via Synaptic o Octaviz e o Octplot, seguem
as respostas das impossibilidades, respectivamente:

Depende: libvtk4c2a (>=4.4.2) but it is not installable

Depende: libhdf5-serial-1.6.4-0c2  but it is not installable ou
     libhdf5-1.6.4-0c2  mas não é instalável

Instalei a libvtk5, que está disponível para o Edgy, nada ainda!

Aceito sugestões, pois fiquei muito impressionado com os recursos do
Octaviz e estou trabalhando para acertar meus m-files ao Octave, plotar
Wavelet's via Octaviz deixando definitivamente de lado o caro MatLab.
