I have the same issue since updating to 16.04 :(
I have found a consistent way to get A2DP profile working - but it has
to be done on every reconnect :(
I switch to HSP/HFP - and sound works. Then I stop ALL sound.. and
disconnect bluetoothe device, reconnects bluetoothe device, and then
switch profile to a2dp(sink) - and ONLY then, can I start the music
again.
