Okay, I got it to work, too now. Nevertheless, my bluetooth does not get initialized every time after a fresh reboot.
Trying sudo modprobe btusb then gives:
"Can't init device hci0: Connection timed out (110)".

Running a Lenovo B590 on Ubuntu 13.10.
